Products placed on the market before 09/26/2015 that do not comply with the requirements of the new directive, such as traditional forced draft boilers and boilers not equipped with a high efficiency pump, can still be purchased, sold and installed. ErP and ELD: what do they mean and how are they different? ErP : The EU has issued new obligations for Energy Using Products (ErP). The new directive, known as the Ecodesign directive, prescribes minimum efficiency requirements and emission limits for appliances that produce heating and domestic hot water.
