The CALYPSO electric water heater is made of high quality steel, with a special powder enamel treatment inside the cylinder, created with advanced electrostatic application techniques and subsequent kiln firing at 850°C for perfect glass porcelain coating of the tank.
To keep heat loss to a minimum, CALYPSO has been insulated internally with high density polyurethane foam without CFC content, externally with a polymer coating with high resistance to heat loss. All models are 100% tested to ensure perfect operation at the intended operating pressure.
CALYPSO water heaters can boast three safety devices: a hydraulic valve which is activated in the event of overpressure in the internal tank and two automatic overtemperature protection systems.

ANTI-FREEZE function If the water heater is connected to the electricity line, the resistance is activated when the accumulated water temperature drops below 5°C. This system avoids possible breakage due to the expansion caused by the freezing of the water inside.
SELF-DIAGNOSTICS function In the event of a fault, the water heater displays the type of problem that has occurred on the front panel via LEDs, allowing for faster repairs.
ANTY-DRY function This is a protection system designed to ensure that the water heater does not turn on in the event of a lack of water in the boiler, thus avoiding internal overheating and the consequent breakage of internal components.

Funzione AUTO-DIAGNOSTICA In caso di guasto lo scaldacqua visualizza sul frontalino tramite led il tipo di problema che si è verificato, permettendo un intervento di riparazione più rapido.
Funzione ANTY-DRYÈ un sistema di protezione studiato per far sì che lo scaldacqua non si accenda in caso di mancanza di acqua nel boiler, evitando così il surriscaldamento interno e la conseguente rottura dei componenti interni.
Funzione SICUREZZA ELETTRICA ATTIVA Alla fine di ogni ciclo di riscaldamento dell’acqua lo scaldacqua effettua una doppia disconnessione dalla linea elettrica, garantendo così una sicurezza completa.
Funzione ANTISCOTTATURA Nel caso di malfunzionamento del termostato lo scaldacqua va in blocco, evitando il surriscaldamento fino a 100°C dell’acqua e proteggendo l’utente da eventuali scottature accidentali.
